These islands boast a variety of flora and fauna with their tropical rain forest, white sandy beaches and extensive coral diversity. Easiest to reach are the dive sites at the east coast of Peninsular Malaysia, but this region is prone to the yearly monsoon season between October and March.

The best dive sites in Malaysia can be found in this region, Places like Sipadan, Layang Layang, Lankayan all spring up. From diving with more turtles than you can imagine at Sipadan Island, to the pristine coral atoll and hammerhead sharks of Layang Layang, the diving in Malaysia is often truly spectacular.You will find excellent macro life on the reefs of Lankayan, Mabul and Kapalai.

If, for reasons of time or geography, you can’t make it to Sabah then a LOB trip around the island of Tioman on MV Nautica could be a good option. Tioman lies off peninsular Malaysia’s east coast and is a very popular island for scuba divers based in Kuala Lumpur and Singapore.
